Stop the data center at 4405 Route 1
A data center of roughly 341,000 square feet is being built on the former Princeton Nurseries site at 4405 US Route 1 in South Brunswick. The township Planning Board approved it in May 2025.
We're neighbors organizing to stop it, and to make sure every official's position is on the record.
Why we're here
Large projects with serious environmental, health and financial impacts should be decided in public. We don't oppose data centers or AI. We oppose building them in our neighborhoods without enforceable limits on noise, emissions, water and power costs, and without giving residents a real voice.
What you can do now
Sign the petition
A South Brunswick resident's Change.org petition asks the township to stop the project.

Township meetings are shown live only on local cable channels 26 and 45, with no online stream or archive we could find. In 2026, every Council and Planning Board meeting should be streamed online and kept for the public record.
Contact the Mayor and CouncilDemand real notice for big projects
State law (N.J.S.A. 40:55D-12) only requires notifying property owners within 200 feet of a project, 10 days before the hearing. For a 143-acre data center, that's almost no one. We're seeking reforms that would require adequate notice to everyone affected.
